Each cadet had to answer questions from a panel about topics from land navigation and tactical combat casualty care to questions on about the government and Army regulations.
Second place went to Cadet Adam Roe from Penn College, who won $2,000. Both Good and Roe are members of the Bald Eagle Battalion, which is comprised of members from LHU, Penn College, Mansfield University and Lycoming College.
"I am beyond proud of our cadets that finished first and second place in this prestigious scholarship opportunity from the veterans at SFA Chapter 67 VFW," said Lt. Col. John "Chris" Acosta. "Cadet Good is a fantastic example of what it means to be an ROTC cadet and future Army officer. His commitment to training and preparation for this event literally paid off."
